Smoking Coming from Kyl’s Office
Smoke is pouring out of the office of Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.).
The smoke appears to be coming from a fireplace in the office, which is just off the senate floor. No one has been evacuated. A Capitol police officer said that maintenance employees are trying to deal with the smoke.
UPDATE: The smoke is leaking into the hallways outside the Senate chamber. The entire second floor of the Senate now smells like a cook-out.
