Freshman Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) may not yet be used to voting on the scores of symbolic resolutions the House passes each session.
Via Twitter, the congressman expressed incredulity that he’d be voting for “Pi Day,” commemorating the March 14th holiday whose date resembles the numercal value of the mathematical figure pi (3.14159265…)
“Actually going to vote on supporting ‘Pi Day,'” Chaffetz tweeted. “Yes, as in 3.14. I have nothing against Pi, but hard to believe we have to vote on this.”
