Obama Wins Ohio, Narrowing McCain’s Options

Fox News, CNN, and NBC News have projected Barack Obama has won Ohio, a decisive electoral victory making a victory by John McCain look nearly impossible.

With nine percent of precincts reporting, Obama is leading McCain 57-42 in the Buckeye state, a state which George W. Bush won in 2000 and 20004.

The state has seen a plethora of Democratic victories in the past two election cycles, scoring big victories in the 2006 senatorial and gubernatorial races after Republicans fell out of favor following Gov. Bob Taft
