Cheney and Biden to Meet Thursday at VP’s Residence
Vice President-elect Joe Biden and his wife Jill will meet with Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife Lynne at the vice presidential residence Thursday.
The two couples will meet at the Naval Observatory in northwest Washington tomorrow evening for a private meeting and tour of the residence, the official home of the Vice President since 1974.
The meeting between the Bidens and Cheneys mirrors that between President George W. Bush and President-elect Barack Obama on Monday at the White House.
