Bush Speech Tomorrow ‘Actually’ Very Good

Actually, President Bush’s scheduled commencement speech before graduates at Texas A & M Friday will be quite good, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said Thursday.

Perino said she’s read a copy of Bush’s speech, and was asked by a reporter whether it’s a good speech.

“Yes. I would–yes, actually, it’s a very good speech,” she said before quickly correcting herself. “I shouldn’t say ‘actually.'”

“OK. I’m digging myself out of the hole,” Perino added before revealing the speech will give the graduates advice on how to live “good and healthy and productive lives as American citizens.”
