Campaign Update: Dodd’s denials, Case opponent?

Hawaii state Senate President Colleen Hanabusa was in D.C. last week looking to set up a run against former Rep. Ed Case (D-Hawaii) in the Democratic primary for gubernatorial candidate Neil Abercrombie’s (D-Hawaii) seat.

State Sen. Jean Schodorf is looking at joining the GOP primary for Senate candidate Todd Tiahrt’s (R-Kan.) seat.

Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) is seeing his mortgage problem pop up again, as he denies knowing about any special treatment from Countrywide Financial.

Terry Sullivan, of Mitt Romney and Jim DeMint fame, will run Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison’s (R-Texas) gubernatorial campaign.

For the recount-weary, don’t worry: former Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) isn’t running for governor.
