Lincoln raises $1.3 million
Sen. Blanche Lincoln’s (D-Ark.) re-election campaign pulled in a very respectable $1.27 million this quarter, according to a campaign email sent out this morning.
Lincoln’s haul brings her cash on hand to $3.2 million.
“I don’t take this job for granted and I am extremely honored and grateful that so many supporters from all walks of life have expressed confidence in my public service,” Lincoln said in the email. “I want to continue my work for new jobs for Arkansans and to repair our broken health care system and in order to conduct a competitive campaign, I will also work hard to build the resources that are required.”
Though Republicans have yet to recruit a top-tier opponent for Lincoln, the GOP is nevertheless hammering the Arkansas Democrat on the Employee Free Choice Act and a public healthcare option. Lincoln’s seen as a swing vote on both issues.
