Another state Rep. to join Kosmas race
The GOP primary to face Rep. Suzanne Kosmas (D-Fla.) is about to grow by one more.
Just a day after state Rep. Dorothy Hukill (R) filed to run for the seat, her state House colleague, Rep. Sandy Adams (R), told The Hill she will file for the seat in the coming days too.
The two of them join Winter Park City Commissioner Karen Diebel and Dr. Ken Miller in the primary.
“We’re in the process of getting all the paperwork filed,” Adams said, adding that she is at a homeland security consortium through tomorrow. “Hopefully, after that, I can get the paperwork finished and completed.”
Kosmas defeated Rep. Tom Feeney (R-Fla.) in a swing district in 2008.
