Former Real Worlder running for Congress?

Sean Duffy, a former cast member of MTV’s “Real World,” has planned an event for Wednesday that looks an whole lot like he’s announcing he is running for Congress.

You may remember Duffy, who is a Republican, as the lumberjack from the sixth season of the “Real World,” which took place in Boston. He is also married to Rachel Campos-Duffy, who was a cast member in the second season of “Real World” in San Francisco.

Duffy, who is now a county District Attorney, has been considering a run against Rep. David Obey (D-Wis.), the chairman of the House Appropriations Committee. He wouldn’t be Obey’s first challenger this year. Republican Dan Mielke has also announced he will run for the 7th District seat.
