Palin Checks Into Hotel as ‘Tina’

Republican veep nominee Sarah Palin has been doing some imitating of her own, according to TMZ.

When she stayed in New York City last weekend for her “Saturday Night Live” appearance, she checked into the Omni Berkshire Hotel as “Tina.” It’s a reference to Tina Fey, who has portrayed Palin in comedy skits. For security reasons, the celebrity site didn’t mention the last name under which Palin checked into the hotel.

TMZ did disclose that Palin, ridiculed for failing to tell Katie Couric the specific newspapers she reads, requested and received copies of the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, New York Post, Daily News, and USA Today. She also had her room stocked with diet soda, Atkins bars, red swizzle sticks and skinny white chocolate mochas with “no whip.”
