Obama Has Led in 111 Straight National Polls

While polls vary on how tight the presidential race is, the surveys taken as a whole show an unmistakable trend for Barack Obama. In fact, the last 111 national polls have shown the Democrat ahead of John McCain, MSNBC’s Domenico Montanaro notes.

The last poll that didn’t show an Obama lead was a Gallup poll taken Sept. 22-24. It had the race tied at 46 percent.

The Pollster.com trend line of all national polls has Obama ahead 51.6 percent to 44.5 percent.
