Jerry Brown Running for Calif. Governor
California Attorney General Jerry Brown has launched a campaign for governor 35 years after his first bid for the office, the LA Times reported today.
The 70-year-old Democrat first ran in 1974. He won and was reelected in 1978.
Between then and now, Brown has run for president three times, served as California’s secretary of state, chairman of the state’s Democratic Party, and now as the state’s top law enforcement officer.
