McCain Mocks Obama TV Special in Ad
John McCain launched a preemptive strike against Barack Obama’s upcoming 30-minute prime time television special on Wednesday.
McCain has a new ad that reprises McCain’s attack on Obama as a celebrity.
“Behind the fancy speeches, grand promises and TV special, lies the truth: With crises at home and abroad, Barack Obama lacks the experience America needs,” an announcer says in the spot.
Obama is running his 30-minute program Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on several networks and on cable television. McCain’s campaign says his ad will air nationwide.
