Klein takes DCCC business council gig
In a sign that he may be leaning against running for the Senate, Rep. Ron Klein (D-Fla.) is becoming co-chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s Business Council.
The DCCC announced on Thursday that Klein and Rep. Dennis Cardoza (D-Calif.) will chair the council, which facilitates the committee outreach to the business community.
Klein has said that he is considering running for Mel Martinez’s (R-Fla.) Senate seat.
