2012 Watch: Obama up 20 on Palin (already!)

Put this in the way-too-early-for-it-to-matter category. Public Policy Polling released a poll today that showed President Obama leading Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) in a hypothetical 2012 presidential match up.

Obama crushes Palin 55 percent to 35 percent in the poll.

As Dean Debnam, the president of the polling firm notes, it is soon for this to matter (yet I am still writing about it).
