AUDIO: Sestak takes shot at Dem leaders on Senate race

Democratic Party leaders in the Senate found themselves the target of Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) on Thursday, who said they have no right to make decisions on which Democratic candidate Pennsylvanians will have on the ballot.

Sestak said he is “absolutely not” going to rule out a primary challenge to Sen. Arlen Specter, who announced earlier this week that he would seek reelection as a Democrat.

“I truly have respect for those men,” Sestak said Thursday during an appearance on Bill Press’s podcast, taking shots at President Obama, Vice President Biden, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), and Democratic leaders in Congress. “That said, we came to Washington to change the establishment, not reestablish the establishment.”
