Strahan says he wants to go back after Blue Origin flight lands

“Good Morning America” host Michael Strahan said he wants to go back to space after his time aboard the Blue Origin flight, which landed on Saturday. 

Strahan, along with five others, went into space on Saturday with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’s spaceflight program, Blue Origin.

“I wanna go back,” Strahan said after the 10-minute flight, CNN reported. “You got to get that perspective.”

Strahan was joined by Laura Shepard Churchley, Evan Dick, Dylan Taylor, Cameron Bess and Lane Bess on Saturday morning.

Shepard is the daughter of famous 1960s astronaut Alan Shepard, the first U.S. astronaut to travel to space shortly after Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first human to travel to space. 

“The Gs — it’s not a facelift; it’s a face drop. I know what I’m going to look like at 85,” he joked, in reference to the G-force during the flight, according to CNN. 

Bezos was there to open the door to the spacecraft when the crew landed. Four of those on the flight were paying customers, according to the news source. 

This was the third Blue Origin spaceflight. The first occurred in July, and the second took off in October.

Bezos was notably on the first flight in July, and Star Trek actor William Shatner rode in the second flight in October.
