Obama: Proving UFOs exist ‘wouldn’t change my politics at all’

Former President Obama said on “The Ezra Klein Show” that his politics wouldn’t change if unidentified flying objects were proven to exist.

“It’s interesting. It wouldn’t change my politics at all, right, because my entire politics is premised on the fact that we are these tiny organisms on this little speck floating in the middle of space,” Obama said.

Conversations about UFOs arose in May after Obama talked about them on “The Late Late Show.”

“What is true, and I’m actually being serious here, is that there are, there’s footage and records of objects in the skies, that we don’t know exactly what they are. We can’t explain how they moved, their trajectory,” Obama said. “They did not have an easily explainable pattern. And so, you know, I think that people still take seriously trying to investigate and figure out what that is.”

President Biden later laughed off a question about Obama’s remarks and UFOs saying “I would ask him again” before ending the press conference.

“I would hope that the knowledge that there were aliens out there would solidify people’s sense that what we have in common is a little more important, but no doubt there would be immediate arguments about, like, well we need to spend a lot more money on weapons systems to defend ourselves,” Obama said on the podcast.

The Office of Director of National Intelligence and Secretary of Defense will be giving an unclassified report about UFOs in June to congressional committees.
