General Motors is recalling 217,000 vehicles across the U.S. and Canada to fix a transmission oil leak that can potentially cause fires or halt the vehicle’s motion.

GM’s recall includes specific versions of 2018 through 2020 Chevrolet Equinox, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Terrain, The Associated Press reported Sunday.

The car manufacturer also listed the 2018 Chevrolet Malibu and the 2018 and 2019 Chevrolet Cruze and Buick LaCrosse. The recall also included the 2020 Cadillac XT6 and the 2019 through 2020 Buick Encore, Buick Enclave, Cadillac XT4, GMC Acadia and Chevrolet Blazer.

GM did not immediately return The Hill’s request for comment.

The company said in government documents released last week that two bolts could be left out from the stop-start mechanism, leading to the link and potential fires. But GM said it has not received reports of crashes, fires or injuries, according to the AP.

Car dealers will look at the stop-start mechanism and add bolts if they are not there, beginning Dec. 14.
