Zoë Kravitz slammed Hulu for its on-screen diversity following the cancellation of her series, “High Fidelity,” after one season.

Kravitz posted photos from the series with the caption “i wanna give a shout out to my #highfidelity family. thank you for all the love and heart you put into this show. i’m in awe of all of you. and thank you to everyone who watched, loved and supported us. #breakupssuck.”

After actress Tessa Thompson commented on the photo “I will miss you alllllllllllll so much,” Kravitz, who was also an executive producer on the series, responded “it’s cool. at least hulu has a ton of other shows starring women of color we can watch. oh wait.”

Deadline noted that Hulu has added series like “Wu-Tang: An American Saga,” which features a largely Black cast. Ramy Youssef’s “Ramy,” and “Love, Victor,” also feature people of color, though they are all male.

Screenwriter and actor Lena Waithe, a Black woman, said in a comment to Kravitz’s post that she “rarely” finds “shows that genuinely impress me. This one did. I told you how much I loved this show. And I still do.”

“High Fidelity” was based on the 1995 Nick Hornby book and the 2000 film starring John Cusack.
