HVAC company mistakenly tagged as Air Force One by Trump offers services to White House

President Trump mistakenly tagged an Ohio heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) company as Air Force One on Wednesday, prompting the company to offer its services for the White House or the president’s plane.

While aboard Air Force One, the president tweeted criticism of Fox News saying it isn’t “even watchable.” But Trump tagged the Ohio company also called Air Force One when mentioning in the post that he was on the plane.

The company Air Force One, which has several offices in Ohio, responded to Trump’s tweet saying, “As a family owned business, we don’t take sides in politics but we were flattered by the mention @realDonaldTrump.”

“Unfortunately, HVAC techs don’t make great pilots but if this is an invitation to provide mechanical services in the White House or on Air Force One, we’re all ears!” the tweet continued.

The president ended up correcting the tweet, but a Yahoo News reporter posted a screenshot of the original post.

Trump had slammed Fox News in his tweets saying he was watching the channel while flying to Texas.

“It is AMAZING in watching @FoxNews how different they are from four years ago,” he posted. “Not even watchable. They totally forgot who got them where they are!”

The president flew to Texas to speak about fossil fuel extraction in the Permian Basin after touring the Double Eagle Energy Oil Rig.
