McDonald’s is offering free “Thank You” meals to health care workers and first responders amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The fast food chain announced Tuesday that the free meals will be available starting Wednesday through May 5.
First responders can receive up to one free Thank You meal a day, and McDonald’s is offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options.
To receive the meal, first responders just need to ask for the Thank You meal and show proof of employment. The Thank You meal option is not available through delivery services, such as Uber Eats and DoorDash.
Other businesses have offered free meals or products to first responders amid the pandemic, including Starbucks, which announced last month it will offer free coffee to any customers who identify themselves as front-line responders.
