Multiple people injured in stabbing in Tallahassee
Multiple people were injured in a stabbing in Tallahassee, Fla., on Wednesday, the city’s police department said in a statement.
A spokesperson for Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare said that five people are being treated at the hospital. Initial reports cited six victims of the stabbing.
The spokesperson said that one person is in serious condition, two patients are in fair condition and two patients are in good condition.
{mosads}The Tallahassee Police Department added in a Facebook post that a suspect is in custody, but did not provide further information.
It also said that the incident occurred at Dyke Industries, a door manufacturer.
Tallahassee Interim Police Chief Steve Outlaw identified the suspect as Antwann D. Brown, 41, during a press conference.
Outlaw said that Brown was an employee of Dyke Industries and that the stabbing followed a workplace dispute.
