Newark airport terminal evacuation causes confusion
Passengers evacuated a terminal of Newark Liberty International Airport on Monday night before officials declared there was no threat in the area.
The incident at the Terminal A-3 Satellite was deemed a false alarm, the airport tweeted, though it’s unclear what caused the disruption.
All passengers and employees were rescreened as a precautionary measure, officials said.

The announcement comes after video posted to Twitter showed travelers quickly leaving the terminal with some luggage left behind in the hurried exit.{mosads}
Insane situation here at Newark Airport. They just told us all to evacuate and whole terminal scattered. Bags left behind. I initially thought it was an active shooter. Maybe a bomb threat. Confusion and chaos pic.twitter.com/eEAJusrXK8
