Twitter user who asked Warren for help with her love life says they spoke on the phone: ‘We have a plan’

Days after Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) offered to help writer and comedian Ashley Nicole Black “figure out” her love life, Black said that she and the 2020 Democratic presidential candidate “have a plan.”{mosads}

“Guess who’s crying and shaking and just talked to Elizabeth Warren on the phone?!?!?” Black tweeted Tuesday. “We have a plan to get my mom grandkids, it’s very comprehensive, and it does involve raising taxes on billionaires.”

After Warren unveiled a series of detailed policy proposals as part of her 2020 presidential campaign, Black — who was formerly a writer on “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” — took to Twitter on Saturday to ask if Warren “has a plan to fix my love life.”

“DM [direct message] me and we’ll figure this out,” Warren replied.

Black responded, “I knew I could count on you.”

After Black announced that she and Warren had spoken, many Twitter users shared their excitement, while a few accused her of bluffing. One user asked Black to share Warren’s advice.

Black tweeted that Warren told her to “focus on what I’ve got going for me.”

The Hill has reached out to Warren for comment.
