Two men in New Jersey were arrested Sunday after a viral video on social media showed a man urinating on a park memorial for a young boy who died from a brain tumor in 2012.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports Township of Hamilton police were notified of the video’s existence over the weekend and ultimately arrested Bryan Bellace and Daniel Flippen.

{mosads}The video posted on Snapchat showed a man urinating on the granite memorial rock located in a local park meant to honor Christian Clopp, who died at the age of nine of from an inoperable brain tumor.

Bellace is reportedly charged with criminal mischief and having an open alcoholic beverage in public and Flippen, who was allegedly responsible for shooting the video, was charged with having an open alcoholic beverage.

The video was taken in the daylight, and the man urinating directly on the memorial can be seen facing the camera and smiling.

The boy’s father, Mark Clopp, is a former police officer with the Township of Hamilton department.

Community members and family friends got together Sunday to disinfect and clean Christian’s memorial.

Mark Clopp thanked them in a post on Facebook Sunday.

“Aside from the two morons facing criminal charges, I saw a community once again come together for a cause,” he wrote. “I’ve heard from hundreds of people offering assistance. Friends and strangers went to wash the memorial off.”

“At the end of the day, the good outweighed and overwhelmed the bad. This is what Christian did during his life. He brought people together and he has accomplished that again. Perhaps the playground will be beautified, maybe expanded as a result. It doesn’t matter, as long as it is enjoyed by thousands of children in the future,” he added.
