Plant-based food company Beyond Meat gives out burgers after historic IPO
The plant-based food firm Beyond Meat on Friday is giving away free burgers with other purchases to celebrate its initial public offering (IPO) on on Thursday.
{mosads}The company on Friday is giving away free Beyond Burgers, a vegan substitute, at Carl’s Jr. with the purchase of a medium or large drink, Veggie Grill with the purchase of a drink, Del Taco with the purchase of any menu item, Bareburger with the purchase of a drink and a side and Epic Burger with the purchase of a drink and a side.
The company dubbed Friday “Beyond Day” on its website.

The company said on Twitter that it was the first plant-based food company to go public on a major exchange.
Its stock surged 163 percent on its first day on the market, according to Fortune. The magazine reported that this is the best IPO of 2019.
