Three children of Anders Holch Povlsen, Denmark’s richest man, were among the more than 200 casualties from a series of Easter Sunday bombings in Sri Lanka.
Reuters reports Povlsen and his wife lost three of their four children in the deadly attacks. The family happened to be on vacation in the country at the time.
{mosads}The orchestrated explosions killed more than 290 people and injured an additional 500. Authorities say the attacks were targeting mainly churches filled with Easter Sunday worshippers.
There were reportedly seven suicide bombers who were responsible for the attack, according to Reuters.
A few hotels were also the subject of the attacks and it is unclear at which location.
Povlsen owns fashion firm Bestseller and is the majority stakeholder in online fashion retailer Asos.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far, but security officials on Monday said they carried the hallmarks of groups like ISIS and al Qaeda.
