Protesters spell ‘LIAR’ on Montana mountain ahead of Trump’s arrival
Protesters spelled the word “LIAR” on the side of Mount Jumbo in Missoula, Mont., to protest President Trump’s upcoming visit to the town, the Missoulian reported.
The mountain already had a the letter “L” cemented onto its surface to represent Loyola Sacred Heart Catholic High School, which is located at its base.

The protesters added the remaining red, white and blue nylon letters to the mountain, which is reportedly visible from where Trump will be holding a rally in the town on Thursday night.
{mosads}Maggie Williams and Betty Tschudi took credit for organizing the protest against Trump and reportedly have about 50 volunteers signed up for shifts to sit near the display throughout the day.
“It seems right to sit on a sunlit mountain in our beautiful community on a gorgeous fall day to express our disgust with and rejection of Trump silently and bask in the company of others who share our voice and concerns and who need to be heard,” the group said in a statement seen by the publication.
The organizers told the local publication they currently expect anywhere between 80 and 100 people in total to sit on the mountain to join in on the protest.
The Thursday rally is the president’s latest campaign stop as midterm elections inch closer. He will be holding the rally for Matt Rosendale (R), the state auditor, who is hoping to unseat Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.).
