Police in Portland, Ore. say they made no arrests after a violent clash between rivaling protest factions in the city’s downtown area.

The Saturday night incident is the latest brawl in an ongoing feud between the right-wing group Patriot Prayer and the left-wing Antifa group.

The Oregonian reported that protesters used “bear spray, bare fists and batons” to attack each other outside a bar for more than a minute before riot police showed up.

{mosads}Police also said they observed firearms and knives in the chaos, and are continuing to investigate.

Social media video and images show bloodied participants and a crowd reacting to pepper spray, allegedly sprayed by Antifa members.

The fight appears to be tied to local tensions over law enforcement and race relations in the city. The violence erupted around a memorial for a 27-year-old black man who was killed in a police-involved shooting, according to The Oregonian.

Police put a stop to the fight by firing pepper balls at the battling protesters.
