Conservative commentator and outspoken “Never Trump” critic Bill Kristol mocked first lady Melania Trump for claiming she is one of the most bullied people in the world.

“Cry me a river,” Kristol tweeted Thursday morning in response to Melania Trump’s claim.

Melania Trump made the comment in an interview with ABC News during her first solo trip in Africa.

“I could say that I’m the most bullied person in the world,” she said. “One of them — if you really see what people are saying about me.”

{mosads} She continued by saying her experience with bullying is in part what motivated her to start her “Be Best” campaign against cyberbullying.

Many have criticized her decision to fight against cyberbullying when her husband often uses social media to attack his critics and the news media.

The first lady said in March that she knew people were “skeptical” about her attempts to address the issue.

“I’m well aware that people are skeptical of me discussing this topic. I have been criticized by many for my commitment to tackling this issue, and I know that will continue,” Melania Trump said.

“But it will not stop me from doing what I know is right,” she continued. “I’m here with one goal: helping children in our next generation.”
