Gunman kills 2, injures 12 in Toronto shooting
A gunman opened fire on a busy street in Toronto on Sunday night, killing two people and injuring a dozen others.
Police said the suspected shooter also died, but it’s not clear whether he was killed by police or if he shot himself.
Police initially said one woman was killed in the shooting spree and 12 people were injured, including a young girl who was in critical condition.

They later said a second victim had been pronounced dead, but did not give any identifying information.

According to the Globe and Mail, the shooting spree began about 10 p.m. on Toronto’s busy Danforth Avenue when a man started firing at pedestrians before shooting into crowded restaurants.
A short, graphic video posted on Twitter shows a man walking up to a building, pointing a handgun inside and firing.
