Texas billboard telling ‘liberals’ to get out goes viral
A billboard telling liberals in Texas to leave the state is making the rounds on social media.
The message on the billboard reads: “Liberals, please continue on I-40 until you have left our GREAT STATE OF TEXAS.”
According to a local Fox affiliate, the sign is on display near Vega, Texas, a small town of about 900 citizens.
A photo of the billboard shared on Monday has since garnered hundreds of likes and more than 4,000 shares on Facebook.
The billboard was met with criticism and praise from hundreds on Facebook, with some calling for the ad to be taken down and others calling the creator of the sign a “fine American.”
In June 2017, another billboard in Texas captured national attention after a supporter of President Trump used the ad space to slam ABC News over its coverage of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
{mosads}Kyle Courtney of Boerne, Texas, placed an ad saying he “grew up with” the news network but that he was let down with it’s coverage of the scandal, which included allegations that members of the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the election.
