A man was indicted for threatening to kill Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and harm “March for Our Lives” protesters at a gun control rally in March.

The five-count grand jury indictment of Nicholas Bukoski was issued in April but was first revealed publicly on Wednesday by the Washington, D.C., branch of the U.S. District, Politico reported.

Bukoski reportedly made the alleged threats on the day of the gun control rally organized by Parkland, Fla., shooting survivors that took place at the National Mall on March 24.

The man has since been charged with threatening to assault or murder congressional members as well as transmitting threats via interstate commerce, according to the publication.

The indictment had initially been filed under seal until just last week in efforts to keep the pursuit under wraps from Bukoski, according to the U.S. District Court filing obtained by the outlet.

“Once the bench warrant issues, law enforcement will begin to investigate ways in which to secure the arrest of the defendant. The public disclosure of this Indictment at this time could jeopardize future plans to secure the Defendant’s arrest, because such disclosure could result in alerting the defendant of the warrant,” U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu had reportedly written at the time.

Bukoski was taken into federal custody earlier this week, according to Politico.
