Bush, 93, was hospitalized in Maine on Sunday, May 27, just a few days after he arrived at his summer home in Kennebunkport.
While in the hospital, Bush tweeted a photo of himself reading a book about his marriage to his late wife, former first lady Barbara Bush, who died in April.
“Yet another reminder of just how lucky I have been in life,” Bush tweeted.
Enjoying a great book and a wonderful walk down memory lane this morning. Yet another reminder of just how lucky I have been in life. Very proud of the author and co-author too. More at: https://t.co/W0XmyMi5Ie pic.twitter.com/53GhdnptNk

Bush has been hospitalized twice in recent weeks.
He was taken to a Houston hospital on April 22 for a blood infection and released after a two-week stay. That visit came two weeks after his wife’s funeral.
