“Last day of school at MSD and I can’t even enjoy it because of MULTIPLE SHOOTINGS that have happened today,” Diego Pfeiffer tweeted. “Today we are reminded to grieve. To, above all else, care for one another because you never know when you can’t anymore.  Let the Texas kids grieve and care today. #SantaFe.”

Pfeiffer was one of many Parkland students who responded to the shooting at a Santa Fe High School, located just outside Houston.

Many Parkland students have become outspoken gun control advocates after the Feb. 14 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas Highs School that left 17 dead.

Florida teenagers offered support to Texas students on Friday, which was the last day of classes at Stoneman Douglas.

Student Cameron Kasky went after the National Rifle Association on Twitter, saying that the gun rights group was probably going to “boast about getting higher donations” in the wake of the shooting.

After the Parkland shooting, conspiracy theories surfaced calling many of the students who spoke out to the media “crisis actors.”

Kasky warned about this happening again, tweeting, “Prepare to see students rise up and be called ‘civil terrorists’ and crisis actors.”

Nine students and one teacher were killed at the Texas high school when a gunman entered the school armed with two guns and improvised explosives.

One suspect is in custody and another person of interested has been detained.
