White nationalist leader Richard Spencer’s website, Altright.com, on Thursday was removed by its host, GoDaddy, after the hosting service gave Spencer 48 hours to choose another domain for the website.

“In instances where a site goes beyond the mere exercise of these freedoms, however, and crosses over to promoting, encouraging, or otherwise engaging in specific acts of violence against any person, we will take action,” GoDaddy said in a statement to BuzzFeed News. “It is our determination that altright.com crossed the line and encouraged and promoted violence in a direct and threatening manner.”

Spencer told Buzzfeed that he is still in the process of finding another domain for the website.

“We’re working on solving the problem and solving it in a permanent way. So this might take some time,” he said.

GoDaddy’s decision to remove Spencer’s website follow’s Facebook’s move to take down two pages affiliated with Spencer last month.

The Facebook pages belonged to Spencer’s National Policy Institute and Altright.com.

The social media platform told BuzzFeed news that it does not allow hate groups to utilize their website.

Twitter also targeted Spencer in 2016, taking down his page on the platform as well as the National Policy Institute’s page.

The platform later reinstated his account, but Spencer’s account was stripped of its verification badge in 2017.

Spencer is one of the more well-known white nationalists in the U.S.

Social media and web hosting platforms have battled with a number of alt-right websites since last summer’s deadly Unite the Right protest in Charlottesville, Va.

Twitter suspended The Daily Stormer, a neo-Nazi news website, from their platforms shortly after the Charlottesville protests.
