Social media reacts to brief disappearance of Hannity’s Twitter account

Fox News host Sean Hannity’s Twitter account briefly disappeared from the social network overnight on Saturday.

Hannity’s account stopped showing up early Saturday morning after he posted a vague tweet referencing “Form Submission 1649.”

International Business Times reports that Hannity’s account was restored around 4:45 a.m. Saturday morning.

A Twitter spokesperson told The Hill that Hannity’s account was “briefly compromised.”

“While we normally do not discuss individual accounts, for privacy and security reasons, we have permission from the account owner to confirm that account was briefly compromised,” the spokesperson said. “We are working with the owner to restore access.”
