Former NHL star’s wife: Trump once hit on me in an elevator

The wife of former NHL star Luc Robitaille says President Trump approached her in an elevator at Madison Square Garden in the 1990s and was “aggressive” with her.

“I was once on a elevator alone with @realDonaldTrump (& a man w/him) at Madison Square Gardens. He was aggressive & told me I was coming home with him,” Stacia Robitaille tweeted Monday. “I laughed, stating I was married to a Ranger. He guaranteed me my husband didn’t make as much money as him. #ThisIsOurPresident”

She later responded to a tweet accusing her of “making up” the incident.

“I’m not a liberal lefty and I’m not looking for attention. Just felt bad keeping it to myself,” she tweeted.

On Wednesday, Stacia Robitaille again tweeted about the alleged incident, saying she shared her story “in hope that others would not be intimidated by these horrific bullies we face today” and added the responses to her original tweet “are why women don’t speak up in [the] first place.”

Luc Robitaille played for the New York Rangers for the 1995-96 and 1996-97 seasons. He currently serves as president of the Los Angeles Kings.

{mosads}Stacia Robitaille’s tweets come after three women who accused Trump of sexual misconduct united for a joint press conference on Monday, calling on Congress to investigate the allegations against him.

On Tuesday, the day after the press conference, Trump took to Twitter to claim he didn’t know the women and blast their “false accusations.”

“Despite thousands of hours wasted and many millions of dollars spent, the Democrats have been unable to show any collusion with Russia – so now they are moving on to the false accusations and fabricated stories of women who I don’t know and/or have never met,” Trump tweeted. “FAKE NEWS!”

Photos and videos emerged Tuesday showing Trump with some of the women who have accused him of sexual misconduct.

At least 16 women during the 2016 presidential campaign accused Trump of sexually harassing or assaulting them. Trump has denied all of the allegations, and the White House has said its official position on the accusations is that all the women are lying.
