The New York Post is devoting its Friday front page to the 11-minute whirlwind that ensued when President Trump’s Twitter account was temporarily taken offline a day earlier.

“@’S ALL FOLKS,” the cover reads, displaying a photo of Trump, looking particularly despondent. The New York tabloid, known for its punchy — and sometimes controversial — front pages is owned by News Corp, the publishing company headed by media mogul Rupert Murdoch, an ally of the president.

Trump’s Twitter account temporarily disappeared Thursday evening, stirring confusion and speculation on the social media site, which is frequently used by the president to chime in on politics, policy and the news.  {mosads}

Hours later, Twitter revealed that an outgoing customer support employee had taken the account down on the employee’s last day of work, and noted that the company would conduct an internal review and would take steps to prevent it from happening again.

Trump spoke out on the matter Friday morning, suggesting that the employee may have taken the account down, because his message “must finally be getting out-and having an impact.”
