President Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, referred to “the Clinton administration” in an interview on Saturday.
He was responding to reports that charges have been filed in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
“The speculation is so insane right now,” Lewandowski said in an appearance on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends.” “What we should be focusing on are the continued lies of the Clinton administration, the continued fallacies that they perpetuate.”
Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election to Trump.

CNN reported Friday night that a federal grand jury has approved the first charges in Mueller’s probe.
The charges are sealed under a federal judge’s order, with sources telling the network that those charged could be taken into custody as soon as Monday.
Lewandowski said he was “certain” that reports of the charges have “nothing to do with the president.”
“If there are bad players on the outside that had a periphery or a small role in … the campaign, my guess is these charges have nothing to do with the campaign whatsoever,” Lewandowski said. “There was no collusion, cooperation or coordination with Russia.”
“The dam is not breaking,” he continued. “The only thing breaking is the Democrats.”
It is unclear what the charges filed by Mueller’s investigation are, CNN reported Friday. A spokesman for the special counsel’s office declined to comment to The Hill.
Mueller was appointed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in May to oversee the investigation into Russia’s interference and possible collusion with the Trump campaign in the 2016 election.
