ABC’s ‘World News’ to broadcast from Chevy dealership

ABC’s “World News with Charles Gibson” is set to broadcast not from its New York studios, but on-location at a Chevy dealership.

The network’s public relations Twitter feed revealed this afternoon that anchor Charles Gibson will be doing the show from a Chevrolet dealership on the same day that General Motors — which owns Chevy — filed for bankruptcy.

ABCNewsNews tweeted Monday:

Tonight on World News, Charlie anchors the broadcast from a Chevrolet dealership — one of GM’s main brands.

While GM has said which of its plants will close, it is likely too early to know which dealerships will be shuttered under the automaker’s restructuring plans.
