Winston Churchill returns to Washington

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, arriving in D.C. for talks with President Obama with a refreshingly powdered nose, came bearing gifts today — including Winston, according to the Daily Mail:

“Mr Brown arrived laden with gifts, including a seven volume, first-edition Sir Martin Gilbert’s biography of Winston Churchill.”

This might be unremarkable except for the recent eviction of the Winston bust from the Oval Office.
