Obama takes selfie with mom, baby at Alaska airport

Former President Obama surprised an Alaskan mother and her baby last week when she saw him at the Anchorage International Airport.

Jolene Jackinsky was waiting for a flight at the airport Monday when she saw a man that looked like Obama in the waiting area.

“As I got closer, I thought: Oh my God, it is Obama,” she told the Associated Press.

According to Jackinsky, Obama asked about her daughter, “Who is this pretty girl?” The two then chatted about kids while Obama held her baby.

“I’m taking your baby,” the former president joked to the baby’s father when he walked up, according to KTUU. Jackinsky then took photos she later shared on social media of the baby with Obama.

“It was unreal, very exciting. After I met him I couldn’t believe I actually talked to him and he held my baby,” she told KTUU.

Obama was reportedly headed home from a vacation with his family in Indonesia.
