Obama remarks underway

President Obama has just delivered his opening remarks at the White House town hall meeting.

“Politics is all too often treated like a game,” the President said. “But this isn’t about me–this is about you. For the American people, what’s going on is not a game.”

The point of the town hall, said Biden economic adviser Jared Bernstein, is to “give you [citizens] a direct line to the administration.”
