NY-20: Tedisco texts wrong district

File this one under embarrassing election day stories. Jim Tedisco, the Republican candidate in the NY-20 special election, got out the vote in the wrong district.

The Albany Times Union reports that Clare Mehserle of Schenectady County is not very happy that she will likely have to pay for a text message from a politician she can’t vote for (and likely WOULDN’T vote for, since Mehserle is a registered Democrat.) Schenectady County is not in the NY-20.
