Howard Stern endorses Arlen Specter
Pennsylvania GOP Sen. Arlen Specter got some support from an unexpected source Tuesday: Radio talk show host Howard Stern.
During Stern’s notoriously raunchy Sirius-XM satellite radio show, he offered a full-throated endorsement, a pledge of campaign cash and a promise to direct his listeners to do the same.

Stern, whose politics could be charitably described as idiosyncratic (he ran for New York governor on the Libertarian Party ticket in 1994, for instance), praised Specter for voting to pass the economic stimulus bill this year.
