Bet on ‘First Baby’ names

Now that the months-long anticipation over the first puppy has subsided, it’s time to get ready for the next (hypothetical) addition to the First Family.

An Irish gambling website is taking bets on what the “First Baby” would be named.

PaddyPower.com has opened a market establishing odds for various names. Topping the list with 3-1 odds is “Barack Jr.,” followed by Stanley, Madelyn and Michelle.

A few notable standouts: Abraham draws 16-1 odds, perhaps due to the Obama’s admiration for President Lincoln; Oprah is betting at 50-1; and you can snatch up Jesus for 100-1.

You can also place bets on the sex of the First Baby. Unsurprisingly, male and female have even odds.
