Royal Jordanian airlines trolls US over laptop ban
Royal Jordanian Air is poking fun at the U.S. government on social media over the recently imposed electronics ban on flights entering America from certain Muslim-majority countries.
Royal Jordanian air flies from Jordan, a Muslim-majority country, to New York, Chicago and Detroit.
The group offered passengers a list of alternative activities they could use to pass time on long flights without their electronic devices, and lamented “every week a new ban” under President Trump.

{mosads}The in-flight ban does not apply to cell phones or medical devices, but does include laptops, tablets, electronic games and cameras. Those items can be stowed in checked baggage, however.
The Department of Homeland Security announced the indefinite ban on Tuesday, saying it would apply to 10 different airports in Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Morocco and the United Arab Emirates.
Royal Jordanian Air has knocked Trump in the past. Ahead of the election, it encouraged people to book flights “while you’re still allowed to” in reference to Trump’s campaign promise to enact a Muslim ban.
