Bill Clinton accusers snap picture at Trump gala

Two women who accused former President Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct in the 1990s attended an inaugural gala for President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday night.

Juanita Broaddrick, a 74-year-old retired nurse, posted a picture with Paula Jones on Twitter ahead of Trump’s swearing-in ceremony on Friday.

Broaddrick accused Clinton of raping her in the 1970s, when he was Arkansas attorney general. Jones, a former Arkansas state employee, sued Clinton while he was in the White House for sexual harassment. It was Jones’s lawsuit that eventually led to revelations of Clinton’s affair with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

{mosads}Jones has been a vocal supporter of the president-elect throughout his 2016 campaign, and positioned herself as a fierce opponent of Clinton’s wife, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Both Jones and Broaddrick appeared at the second presidential debate in October at the invitation of Trump. At a press conference just before the debate was set to begin, Jones, Broaddrick and two other Clinton accusers, Kathleen Willey and Kathy Shelton, condemned the Clintons.

“Actions speak louder than words. Mr. Trump may have said some bad words, but Bill Clinton raped me and Hillary Clinton threatened me,” Broaddrick said at the news conference, claims the Clintons have long denied.

Trump has faced sexual misconduct allegations of his own, and in a 2005 recording leaked to The Washington Post in October, the real estate mogul could be heard talking about how his celebrity status allowed him to kiss and grope women without their permission.
